About the Project

Inhouse Design Studio transformed this Cape Town home, creating a captivating entrance with a dramatic double-volume ceiling and stunning views of the new pool and landscaped garden. A feature wall with botanical wallpaper and natural pendant lights adds a touch of drama, while a bespoke timber balustrade brings warmth and elegance. The open-plan living area seamlessly connects the lounge, kitchen, and dining spaces, extending into the garden through new stacking doors for effortless indoor-outdoor living. The kitchen's oak joinery and the dining room's carefully chosen lighting create a cohesive and inviting atmosphere. The sunroom is a highlight, with its incredible views, soft natural light, and a unique slatted timber ceiling. The relocated pool creates a larger lawn and a chic lounging area, enclosed by frameless glass balustrades with integrated lighting for evening ambiance. Throughout the home, timber elements, fresh paint, and new flooring create a sense of chic seaside luxury. The result is an interactive and social home that masterfully blends warmth with the breathtaking views of the Cape Town Atlantic Seaboard, epitomizing luxury coastal living.
