About the Project

Every man cave needs a statement — this one has a skate bowl. Polished concrete flooring sets the tone for a raw, urban-inspired interior that is equal parts grit and sophistication. At its heart sits a fully functional concrete skate bowl, a bold custom feature that transforms the space from a typical retreat into something truly extraordinary. When the original sunken design proved structurally unsound, Inhouse Design Studio rose to the challenge — stripping out an entire floor level, engineering a timber and plywood framework, and pouring concrete to create a deeper, high-performance bowl. Six weeks of meticulous craftsmanship delivered a feature that is as striking to look at as it is to ride — the ultimate addition to a man cave built for a teen who takes his downtime seriously.
