About the Project

As a leading hospitality expert in interior design, Inhouse Design Studio was commissioned in 2007 to create three distinct room concepts for the St Georges Hotel in Cape Town. Our approach showcased how varied design elements could transform similar spatial layouts into uniquely atmospheric guest experiences, a testament to our expertise in bespoke interior design for the hospitality sector. Each of the three interior design concepts developed by Inhouse Design Studio for the St Georges Hotel offered a unique ambiance: Warm & Inviting: The first room concept featured a sophisticated palette of warm brown and beige tones, accented with splashes of green, all set against a crisp white interior design. This created a welcoming and serene atmosphere for guests. Clean & Contemporary: The second design embraced a lighter and cleaner aesthetic. Utilizing primarily white furnishings and finishes, this concept exuded a fresh, modern, and airy feel, appealing to guests seeking a minimalist yet elegant interior design. Bold & Sophisticated: The final concept was characterized by a darker, more robust interior design. Black design elements were strategically incorporated to create a sophisticated and moody look and feel, offering a luxurious and intimate retreat for discerning travelers. Through these diverse interior design solutions, Inhouse Design Studio demonstrated its versatility and commitment to delivering tailored environments that enhance the guest experience.
