About the Project

The brief to Inhouse was to provide a five-bedroom family home that takes full advantage of the Atlantic seaboard views and north-facing site, whilst providing privacy from neighbouring stands. It was vital from the outset that this three-storey home would be practical for a young family that could grow into the spaces considered. The triple-volume residence is calculated juxta positioning of raw materials set into the face of a sloping hill in Bantry Bay. It comprises five en-suite bedrooms, a generous open-plan living area and kitchen, a rooftop terrace with a bar, and a double-volume courtyard that functions as the centrepiece.
