A workspace that speaks the language of the city it occupies. Inhouse Design Studio's relationship with Nike spans multiple continents and a significant portion of the brand's EMEA regional footprint, from Johannesburg to Athens, Amsterdam, Tel Aviv, and Istanbul. Each office in this programme was designed not as a replica of the last, but as a culturally specific expression of the Nike brand rooted in its local context.

For the Istanbul headquarters, the defining gesture was a tribute to the Bosporus, the natural strait that has shaped Istanbul's identity as a crossroads of trade, culture, and movement for centuries. In response, Inhouse incorporated shipping container forms into the office architecture, housing various meeting spaces within structures that reference the maritime trade heritage of the strait. It is a design decision that is simultaneously bold and deeply considered: brand-forward without being decorative, culturally resonant without being literal.

The Istanbul office sits within a broader EMEA design programme that Inhouse executed with the same underlying philosophy across every market, that a Nike workspace should feel like Nike, but should also feel unmistakably like the city it calls home. Istanbul's office achieves both.
