InHouse Design Studio was commissioned to create a groundbreaking corporate office space for Macquarie Investment Bank in Cape Town, a project defined by its ambition to maximize 360-degree city views and abundant natural light. Our InHouse Design team delivered an exceptional investment bank interior design that seamlessly blends sophisticated aesthetics with high functionality, reflecting Macquarie's global stature. The core design brief emphasized an expansive open-plan layout to fully capitalize on the panoramic vistas of Cape Town and ensure optimal natural light penetration throughout the workspace. To achieve a distinct and contemporary aesthetic, InHouse Design Studio masterfully combined a curated selection of materials: sleek glass partitions foster transparency and connectivity, robust steel elements provide structural integrity and modern appeal, and warm bamboo flooring introduces an organic, inviting texture. Key features of this modern office design include multi-level spaces, such as a mezzanine area with informal meeting zones, all framed by extensive glass railings that maintain visual openness. The main office areas are characterized by clear glass partitions, often interspersed with planters featuring live bamboo, enhancing biophilic design principles and creating a refreshing environment. Lounge and waiting areas are thoughtfully appointed with contemporary furniture, large windows, and subtle lighting, offering comfortable yet stylish spaces for collaboration and relaxation. The integration of exposed ceiling elements in some areas adds an industrial-chic touch, complementing the overall modern aesthetic.
