About the Project

Inhouse Design was contracted by Unitrans to transform their operational nerve center into a world-class command hub. This project showcases the Inhouse Design Team’s mastery of international designs, seamlessly blending a high-tech mission control environment with warm, human-centric elements. Through innovative space planning, we moved away from traditional office layouts to create a dynamic, tiered amphitheater. This circular, multi-level workstation provides staff with unparalleled sightlines to a 360-degree wall of real-time data screens, anchored by a dramatic circular ceiling feature that symbolizes the continuous flow of information central to the Unitrans business. The integration of technology within this interior office design is both seamless and sophisticated, where a vast array of monitors serves as a core design element against a backdrop of deep navy blue. To balance the industrial feel, the Inhouse Design Team incorporated custom designed furniture, including tiered seating and a central meeting table finished in warm wood tones. Understanding the need for diverse work settings, Inhouse Design Studio strategically interspersed the high-energy hub with acoustically treated meeting booths framed by striking vertical wood slats. These flexible zones empower employees to choose the environment that best suits their task, significantly boosting productivity and job satisfaction. A hallmark of this international designs project is the extensive use of biophilic elements, where a lush green wall provides a vibrant backdrop for the Unitrans logo in the reception area. This connection to nature is woven throughout the office via integrated planters and large windows, creating a harmonious balance with the exposed ceilings and polished concrete. By juxtaposing high-tech capacity with natural textures, Inhouse Design Studio has delivered a sophisticated and sustainable workspace. This project stands as a testament to our reputation as workspace experts capable of translating complex operational briefs into powerful spatial experiences through expert space planning and bespoke custom designed furniture.
